Description
It's very common to see fog when visiting Long Beach, on the west coast of Vancouver Island. Quite often, it's socked in so much you can barely see the water until you're standing in it. We were fortunate on this occasion to get some mist in the mountains to give that west coast feeling, but enough visibility to enjoy the winter surf as it pounded the beach.

Beautiful scenery - one can hear the roar of the ocean as the waves wash upon the shore and feel the chill in the air just gazing at the mist that dances atop the trees and mountains. L/F
