We knew there were owls in the area and I was told they were quite happy to pose for the cameras. I wasn't having any luck at all. I had spotted a few, as they were flying away, or deep in the forest. As I was about to give up, I happened to spot this one through a narrow gap in the trees. It seemed quite content to give me a chance to take this photo. It wasn't long though, before it got bored and flew off.
