I just happened to look up in time to see this eagle flying past me. At first I couldn't make out what it was carrying, but when I enlarged the image, I could see it was the tail portion of a large salmon. Judging by the 'square tail', I'm assuming it was a chinook (spring) salmon, probably in the 20 - 25 pound range.
