Description
The weather here has been pretty sketchy, so I took an early morning opportunity to capture this winter scene, with lots of fresh snow on Mount Arrowsmith. Parksville is well known for the beaches, but don't forget to turn around and take in the mountains that form the spine of Vancouver Island.
This photo was taken about 45 minutes before sunrise. The lowlying mist over the frosty farmer's field was an added bonus. Good thing I got an early start, as clouds moved in less than an hour later.
