Description
This is the Little Qualicum River, right next to Highway 19A. Autumn is a time for great colours and for fishing for the big one on local rivers. Salmon are heading upstream from the ocean and some of the obstacles they have to get past are the fly fishermen that line the river. Throw in some sunshine on a late afternoon and it makes for a good photo op.

Gorgeous colors and amazing light! I love when it is overcast and the sun gets low enough to shine under the clouds! You get the most amazing light as you have here! Fantastic comp as well!! v.f

Great shot Randy - beautiful colours and light. Where is this little river?
Randy Hall replied:
Thank you Inge. This is the Little Qualicum River, taken right beside the Highway 19A bridge.
