It was the first full day of spring and the forecast was ominous. Cooler temperatures, rain, wet snow, thunderstorms and hail were all on the radar for our area, but we hit a nice pocket of sunshine instead. This interesting cloud formation looked threatening for a while, but even it dissipated to nothing as it scudded across the strait.

Randy Hall is a Vancouver Island photographer specializing in nature photography, whether it is capturing natural settings such as seascapes or forest landscapes or the plants and animals that inhabit this part of British Columbia. Randy considers himself a landscape photographer first, but also an opportunistic wildlife photographer. "My photos are my interpretation of works by a true master...Mother Nature".
