Description

The Philippine Mars is moored on a misty Sproat Lake, surrounded by a forest of tall trees under a cloudy sky. The scene has a serene, foggy atmosphere. The flight crew is preparing it for what was to be the start of its final flight, from its long-time home on Sproat Lake, to its final resting place at the Pima Air and Space Museum in Arizona. It has been 17 years since its last mission in fire suppression and crews have spent the last couple of months getting it ready for this final flight.
