Description
These days, with computers and video games, it's not very common to see family outings like this one. I was out on a photography outing in poor weather when I came across this man and his daughter. My first thought was that dad wanted to go fishing and he took his daughter along with him. After talking with them for a while, I was surprised to hear that it was actually the other way around. The little girl apparently frequented this spot with grandparents or her dad, fishing for trout. On this particular morning, even though it was raining pretty heavily, she convinced her dad they should try for "the big one".

After walking the trails for a while, I got lucky and saw them again as they were walking away, down this path. Something about the yellow boots, the raincoat and content, comfortable look really got the best of me. This truly is an example of quality time.
