Description
Sometimes it just pays to be lucky. It was a stormy afternoon and the clouds parted just enough to give this bright band of fiery sky. The clouds were stirring with the winds and it gave the appearance of flames. This photo also shows the value of paying attention to your foreground. It would have been easy to pull over and take a photo of the sky, but I wanted something of interest in the foreground, so I headed for the beach. I got an added bonus with the low tide, getting the great reflections on the pool of water and the warm glow along the water line.

A picture of outstanding beauty! You happen to live in one of the most beautiful places I ever visited, but you turn this into extraordinary images! The detail which I love in this picture is the similar orange lights coming out from beach house windows, resembling the tones of the sunset. Wonderful, voted!

Thank you Mariola. It was sure a wild sky...a perfect fit for a stormy afternoon.
