Sometimes the easiest way to find an owl is to listen for robins or other birds raising a ruckus. In this case, a pair of robins were not happy with a barred owl. Could be that the owl had been after the robins' nest or just too close for comfort.
The two robins took turns "buzzing" the owl, sometimes getting so close as to ruffle the owl's feathers. Conditions were darkening by the minute, so I was happy to get this capture before it got too dark to shoot.
The owl put up with the air attack for a few minutes before it finally decided it had enough. Taking flight, the owl had the two robins in hot pursuit.

Thank you David. Actually, it was planned. I had about 20 attempts, and this was the best. Some of the others showed only a wingtip, only tail feathers, or no robin at all. Glad I finally got lucky.
